Australian junior Karoon Gas said Thurs- day that well tests have confirmed commer- ciality at the Kronos-1 well, drilled by oper- ator ConocoPhillips in the Browse Basin permit WA-398-P. The firms have been tar- geting a multitrillion-cubic foot resource ca- pable of supporting an LNG project in the area. The block is on trend with the giant Torosa, Brecknock and Calliance fields that Australia’s Woodside is developing for the Browse LNG project.
