Japanese stocks dipped slightly for the week ending Feb. 21, totaling 78.63 million bbl, according to data released Wednesday by the Petroleum Association of Japan. Gas oil inventories saw the biggest drop, falling 8% to 11.1 million bbl, while kerosene stocks fell 2.3% to 14.5 million bbl. Gasoline and naphtha stocks both rose - gasoline to 13.5 million bbl and naphtha to 10.2 million bbl.
