Somali pirates struck again this week, hijacking a lubricants tanker passing through the Bab el-Mandab strait between Yemen and Djibouti. On Wednesday, the vessel, MT Motivator, was positioned north of Puntland in northeastern Somalia, a spokesperson for the European Union Naval Force (EU Navfor) in Somalia told International Oil Daily. It was about 11 nautical miles from the MV Golden Blessing, a chemical tanker captured on Jun. 28.
