Norwegian oil production limped to the end of the second quarter with another disappointing month in June, according to data released this week by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). Total oil output fell by 153,000 barrels per day last month from an upwardly revised May to settle at 2.083 million b/d, bringing the first-half average to 2.336 million b/d - or 113,000 b/d down on the first half of 2008 (IOD May12,p7).
