摘要

A study has been carried out to analyze the effects of chemical reaction and heat transfer over MHD flow of viscous fluid past an impulsively moving isothermal vertical porous plate with time- dependent suction. The governing boundary layer equations are first transformed into a non- dimensional form and the resulting non-linear systems of partial differential equations are then solved numerically using perturbation technique. The fluid is assumed to be viscous, unsteady and incompressible. Numerical calculations are carried out for different values of magnetic parameter (M), Schmidt number (Sc), Prandtl number (Pr), heat source/sink parameter (S), chemical reaction parameter (γ), and porosity (K). Representative results are presented quantitatively for velocity, temperature and concentration distribution. Also, graphical presentation of the skin-friction coefficient, rate of heat transfer and mass transfer coefficient show interesting features of the physical parameters.
