Application of an approximate inversion method to short-ranged potentials

The performance of a recent inversion scheme due to Ramm is investigated by applying it to the case of short-ranged potentials relevant in nuclear physics. It is shown that the sphere of validity of the Ramm inversion method is the same as the Born approximation. [References: 16]
