PRESENT STATUS AND FUTURE PLANS OF THE RIBF FACILITY

In 2007, a new high-power heavy-ion accelerator system 1 and a new fragment separator BigRIPS 2 started to deliver radioactive isotope beams. High perfor- mances and potentialities of this facility has been demonstrated by recent discovery of two new isotopes 125 ; 126Pd 3.
