In summary, engineering research and commercial application of serial novel reactor internals indicate that engineering design and commercial application in either Jingmen or Qilu are very successful. The calibration data show that the technology of hydrogenation reactor internals has reached world advanced level. It provides technical guarantee of improved radial temperature difference in reactor, increased catalyst utilization and extended operation cycle in both newly built hydrogenation units, especially hydrocracker processing heavier feed, and revamped existing hydrogenation units.
