The Olive Oil Commodity Chain in Italy in 1996

ISMEA continues in 1996 with its yearly report on the olive oil commodity chain. The study comprises a general section which looks at the recent temporary and structural dynamics of the international and domestic market with particular reference to the changes in household consumption. It also features an extensive statistical appendix and an interesting monographic review of the location of Italy's olive oil industry. A summary of the general section of the report now follows.
