A new semiclassical formulation for molecular line broadening

An original infinite order method to calculate line broadening is proposed using projection operator algebra and the Linked Cluster Theorem. TheSmatrix elements are calculated iteratively at any order of perturbation theory. A first application to the Orarr;2H2ndash;Ar rotational line is performed.
