The IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) Transactions on Information and Systems announces a forthcoming Special Section on Machine Vision Applications to be published in July 2010.The Eleventh IAPR Conference on Machine Vision Applications was held at Keio University, Japan, from May 20 through 22, 2009. The conference was co-sponsored by the MVA Conference Committee, IAPR TC-8, and Keio University. In conjunction with the MVA 2007, we plan to publish the special section that consists of the papers published in the MVA 2009 as well as new contributions with related topics.
