摘要

This paper deals with power quality increasing problem in power supply systems of industrial enterprises with intensive nonlinear load spread. The negative influence of nonlinear load on the performance of main electrical equipment in any industrial area and energy saving level is shown. The main existing passive devices and decisions for voltage and current harmonic elimination are described and analyzed. The effective usage of shunt active filter as a kind of active correction system for power quality increasing is presented in the paper. The proposed algorithm of voltage and current harmonic determination and elimination for shunt active filter is described and justified. A mathematical model of industrial power supply system with nonlinear load was developed within a Matlab Simulink software environment for this purpose. In process of simulation the efficiency of proposed algorithm is shown. Also the efficiency of voltage and current harmonic determination and elimination by shunt active filter with proposed algorithm is shown in process of experimental researches, which were carried out in electric networks of oil production enterprises. The opportunities and ways of shunt active filter application with proposed algorithm as a part of flexible alternative current transmission systems (FACTS) and distributed generation systems on the base of alternative and renewable sources are described.
