Lindingeretalrsquo;s2comments on the authorrsquo;s previously published study1are discussed. In particular a possible falsification of data caused by high speed ions in the drift tube is considered. It is shown that the results obtained in the experiments could not be explained as being caused by the apparatus used for the experiments. (AIP)
