Eight in steam at NNR spectacular

An impressive eight locomotives should be in steam at the North Norfolk Railway's two-weekend gala to mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of most of the Midland Great Northern Joint Railway network. The gala takes place on February 27-March 1, and March 7/8.As SVR-based 43106 won't be ready in time, one of the five visitors will be Ian Riley's 76079 - the nearest working relation to one of the Ivatt 4MT 'Moguls' synonymous with the region. It will be joined by 1306 Mayflower, 44422,78019 and 1300 and they will line up alongside home fleet locos 90775, 65462 and 69621.
