摘要

Primary reactions in xhyphen;irradiated single crystals of the two crystal modifications of myohyphen;inositol have been investigated by ESR and pulse radiolysis. Two primary radicals have been determined by ESR at 77 K, the alkoxy radical and the hydroxyalkyl radical, and trapped electrons have been observed at 4.2 K in the hydrated crystal of myohyphen;inositol. The kinetics of the trapped electron have been determined with pulse radiolysis. The alkoxy radical is bleachable with visible light, but the signal in anhydrous myohyphen;inositol recovers when the light is switched off.
