Royal Scot set for February tests

Bressingham Steam Museum's 6100 Royal Scot is expected to undertake its first main line test runs in mid-February, a month later than planned - but it should work its first main line charters around a month after that if all goes to plan.The 4-6-0 is receiving the final fitment of its TPWS system at Southall, and minor modifications to make sure fittings such as the boiler dome fit within Network Rail's 13ft high loading gauge.
