Analysis of Valencehyphen;Bond Wave Functions for LiH

摘要

Several LiH valencehyphen;bond wave functions of nonorthogonal structure are analyzed in terms of the ``natural orbitals'' and the ``structure projections.'' These wave functions are shown to agree well among themselves and to be closely similar to molecular orbital wave functions which give similar total energies.
