Construction principle for stable multiplyhyphen;negative charged molecular systems. Part II. Triplyhyphen;negative charged systems

摘要

Following a recently introduced construction principle, triplyhyphen;negative charged compounds are designed and investigated. The specific series of systems discussed are M2X3minus;5alkali and M2X3minus;7earth alkali halides. For the highly ionic members in these series considerable evidence for their stability to fragmentation and to electron autodetachment is obtained at various levels of theory.
