Plane Wave Spectrum Concept for Antenna Analysis

摘要

The paper explains the basic concepts connected with the analysis of antenna problems using plane wave spectrum approach. Some examples illustrating the presence of the beam in the visible and invisible regions are given. A new simplified method for evaluating the far zone field from angular spectrum of plane waves is presented.
