摘要

AbstractDamage to the lumbosacral plexus is an infrequent complication of radiation therapy to pelvic or spinal lesions. Described is a case of neurologic injury presenting in a young man treated definitively for a paraspinal soft tissue sarcoma. Neurologic symptoms and signs were limited to lower motor neuron deficits without sensory or sphincter disturbances. There remains no evidence of recurrence of the primary lesion. This is the first reported case of lumbosacral plexopathy occurring after a course of hyperfractionated radiotherapy. © 1993 Wiley‐Liss, IncThis article is a US government work and, as such, is in the public domain in the United States of Americ
