Strong end-user demand from the tube and pipe sector has helped some CIS steelmakers to boost their hot rolled coil export prices by as much as 100 dollars per tonne, market participants said. High oil prices have kept new tube and pipe orders coming quickly, and pipemakers' inventories are at low levels, they said.
