Nissan new compact SUV Terrano at sub- 10 lakh

Nissan Motor India has unveiled its compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Terrano, marking it's foray into the segment and positioning it against group company Renault's Duster and Ford's EcoSport. The Terrano will sport a starting price tag of sub 10 lakh. The pre-bookings for Terrano would commence from September 1, while the vehicle would be available for sale across the country from October. "The compact SUV segment is one of the fastest growing segments in the Indian market today," said Kenichiro Yomura, President Nissan India Operations.
