Studies on hostacortin-H as a reticulo-endothelial blocker in poultry: haemato-biochemical profiles

摘要

Hostacortin-H administration in cockerels significantly altered phagocytic index suggesting RE depression. Haemato-biochemical studies showed decrease in red cell indices, PCV, platelets and total leukocyte count and increase in blood glucose, serum total lipids, cholesterol, phospholipids and total proteins.
