Efficacy of Stresroak and Livfit Vet Against Hydropericardium Syndrome in Broiler Chicks

The effect of feeding herbal preparations Stresroak and Livfit vet from day one in broiler chicks was studied against experimental inoculation of hydropericardium syndrome (HPS) infective material given on 25th day of age. The survival rate of treated birds was improed by 10-15% compared to the infected controls. The severity of clinical, haematological and biochemical parameters was significantly reduced in ghe treated birds. The group given Stresroak and Livfit vet in combination were benefited the most. The results indicate adaptogenic and hepatoprotective effects of Stresroak and Livfit vet respectively in broiler chicken.
