Birdfair projects update: 2010 saving southern ethiopia's endemics

Man-made and natural disasters have all conspired historically to cause problems for the human population of Ethiopia and now tragically it is back in the news again as drought has returned to affect the countries of the Horn of Africa. Ethiopia's wildlife has also been impacted by such pressures on the land but, working with local communities, funding to the Ethiopian Wildlife and Natural History Society (EWNHS) from the 2010 Birdfair is helping to throw a lifeline to some of the most threatened species.
