Energy levels of the Schrödinger equation for a double-well potentialV(x, y; Zx2, Zy2,λ) = −Zx2x2-Zy2y2+λaxxx4+ 2axyx2y2 +ayyy4 in a two-dimensional system are calculated using the Hill determinant approach for several eigenstates and over a wide range of values of the perturbation parameters (λ, Zx2,Zy2).
