The title compounds4react with amidines to give pyrimidinylphosphonates6and pyrimidinonderivatives8, respectively. Otherwise the pyridinylphosphonate7and the 2-pyridonderivative9are formed only in small amounts by treating4with 3-amino-2-butenoate. With hydrazine compound4affords pyrazolylphosphonates10and the pyrazolonylderivative11. 4-Acyl-1,2,3-triazolylphosphonates12can easily be prepared by reaction of4with sodium azide.
