As a celebrity photographer, one of my biggest challenges is time. When you're shooting Britney Spears, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Justin Timberlake, Kobe Bryant, Christina Aguilera, John Lee Hooker, Limp Bizkit, Beck, or Don King, time is always at a premium. So, it's imperative that I get the shots I need quickly. I've been using Polaroid film for 16 years and it's still the fastest, most reliable way to proof a photo shoot. During a recent fashion shoot for a new denim company, I decided to try Polaroid's new 690 instant proofing film. The goal of the shoot was to photograph the company's new product line to be used in brochures, advertising, posters, and for the company website.
