On two modified Phillips operators

In this note we introduce two new modified Phillips operators G(n)(1) and G(n)(2). We obtain direct estimates for approximation of bounded continuous functions, defined on 0, infinity) by G(n)(1), as well as for approximation of unbounded continuous functions by G(n)(2). We improve some previous results on this topic.
