Electromagnetic Coupling Between Transmission Lines Through Apertures

摘要

The paper present a comrehensive survey on the methods of analysis and design of microwave aperture couplers. The formulation of coupling between similar lines using small as well as large apertures, and between dissimilar transmission lines using small apertures is discussed. The most useful formulae used for design calculation along with some quantitative results are also presented. The relative merits and demerits of various techniques are mentioned.
