Kinetics of Hydrogen Oxidation Part 6. Inhibition and Catalysis of Lean Mixtures

The switching of inhibition and catalysis in lean mixtures under stmospheric pressure is studied as a function of the initial inhibitor concentration and temperature. The same elementary processes can cause either inhibition or catalysis depending on varying HBr concentration and temperature, and also on changes in the composition of the kinetic scheme into which processes are included.
