Flocked Surfaces for Automobile Interiors

On the occasion of a seminar of the IIR Germany on the subject of "Textiles in the interior equipment of motor vehicles", a lecture was delivered by Mr. Joachim Mueller (IFT Ing.-Buero for Flock-Technology). Thereby the basic principles of the technology were described and a survey was given of where on the automobile sector, on account of the optical effect and feel and for functional reasons, flock is used. Many newcomers within our circle of readers may very likely be as interested in the subject as the participants in the seminar.
