Liaoning: production base of the world

LIAONING PROVINCE lies in the centre of north-east Asia and in the south of northeastern China, with the Korean Peninsula and Japan to the south, and Russia to the north. It is one of the well-deveioped coastal provinces OT China, with 14 cities and 42m. residents with a total area of 146,000km~2 and 2,000km coastline. The five international seaports with Dalian in the centre can handle 100m. tpa of goods, and two international airports connect with more than 140 countries and regions. The expressway also ranks the first in China. With such an advantageous geographical location, Liaoning is the heavy industry base of China and the ocean outlet TO the world for the whole of northeastern China.
