POLITICAL AND economic events in China are central to developments in the dry bulk trade.Understanding the panoply of official Chinese data-from fixed asset investment and industrial production to urban growth-should offer a good indication of future prospects for industrial raw material demand and,by extension,the health of bulk carrier demand.
