British American Tobacco Joins American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology Board

British American Tobacco (BAT) has been voted onto the Board of Directors of the American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT). The ASCCT was established jointly by the Institute of In Vitro Sciences (IIVS) and Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in October 2010. The ASCCT aims to provide "an organized forum for discussion of cellular (in vitro) and computational toxicology approaches especially as replacements for animal-based toxicology methods."
