Aluminates in Avignon

ANYONE WHO WAS anyone in the calcium aluminate cements (CAC) business was headed for south France in late June. Cement & Concrete Science, with support from Kerneos, Cementos Molins, and Calucem organised "Calcium Aluminate Cements 2008: the Centenary Conference" during 30 June - 2 July. The event comprised three days of high quality papers held in the wonderful venue of Avignon's Palais des Papes, just south of Le Teil, Ardeche, the home of Lafarge cement.
