Renewal of Cathodic Protection on a Seawater Intake Structure

Sacrificialanode cathodicprotection (SACP) was installed on the steel components of the seawater intake structure of a liquefied natural gas terminal during construction. All the anodes were replaced after the original SACP had deteriorated. This article describes the inspection and renewal of the original SA CP.
