摘要

What is Frequency Response Analysis (FRA)? Frequency Response Analysis, commonly abbreviated by test engineers and technicians as "FRA", has long been recognized as a powerful testing tool for detecting winding displacements caused by transportation damage, short circuit current forces, or loosening of winding clamping pressures. Sophisticated new test techniques are improving sensitivity, repeatability, and interpretation of results by overcoming the practical measurement and interpretation issues that have limited the usefulness of FRA as a viable testing tool in the past, especially in frequency ranges above 2 MHz.
