Studies on Phallus rubicundus from India growing in Almora city in Kumaun Himalaya.

P. rubicundus was found growing under a Ficus religiosa tree in Almora city, Uttarakhand, India, in July 2011, on moist substrate consisting of a little amount of soil and decomposing leaf litter. The morphology of this edible fungus is briefly described.
