Indoor radiation exposures from radon, thoron and their decay products were measured in some of the dwellings of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. The observed indoor radon and thoron concentration of the dwellings in and around Dhaka city has been found to be 15.45 and 19.51 Bq m~(-3) which correspond to effective doses of 0.773 and 0.98 mSv/yr, respectively.
