MERCEDES-BENZ is using this week's New York motor show to unveil a facelifted version of the second-generation M-class. Central among the changes is a lightly altered front end, with a reprofiled bumper, larger projector-beam headlamps, a more prominent three-slat grille and new fog lamps. There are similarly subtle changes towards the rear with new exterior mirror housings, standard roof rails, a new tail-light lens design and a deeper bumper with an optional stainless steel protection plate.
