CHANCES ARE THAT if you're about to take delivery of a new Seat Leon, it'll be this model. Seat expects this combination of engine, gearbox and trim level to account for more than 30 per cent of British sales - twice as many as the next most popular model. However, this car doesn't represent the Leon, or the Seat brand, quite as well as other models in the range. Like all other Leons with 150bhp or less, it uses the MQB platform's cheaper beam axle rear suspension, but that won't concern most owners.
