Mercedes readies ￡200k go-anywhere G500 4×4

MERCEDES-BENZ HAS followed up its monster G63 AMG 6×6 with this smaller four-wheeled variant called the G5004×4~2. It is being pitched as a road-going concept but, as with the G63 AMG 6×6, has been engineered to production maturity. According to highly placed Mercedes-Benz sources in Stuttgart, it is planned to go on sale later this year at a price, in the UK, "in a region above ￡200,000".
