FORD IS ON to something good with its LOT EcoBoost technology, and it is in the Fiesta that the turbo triple shines brightest. However, as a cheaper way in to three-cylinder ownership, Ford has decided to remove the turbo from its EcoBoost engine and offer the Fiesta in normally aspirated form. Thus, the engine loses 20bhp and 481b ft over the lesser of the two EcoBoost Fiestas but it is claimed to match the 99bhp 1.0T EcoBoost for economy and CO_2.
