THE NEW FORD Focus RS's pioneering four-wheel drive system will be installed in more cars, raising the prospect of other performance-orientated all-wheel-drive Ford models. Ford's All-Wheel Drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring system is the most significant mechanical upgrade for the new Focus RS over previous generations of the car, both of which were front-wheel drive. "We've done the hard part in developing it to production," said RS engineering manager Tyrone Johnson. "It would be fair to suggest that we'll be looking to use the technology in other ways."
