NEED FOR URBAN FOREST POLICY- A THOUGHT

Based on case study on a newly developed township named Baishnab Ghata Patuli an added area of Kolkata Municipal Corporation a thought has been developed for formulating Urban Forest Policy for sustainable management of Urban forest to enhance social,environmental, economic, spiritual and aesthetic value of urban area, in the International year of forest.
