摘要

A novel fiber optic temperature sensing system based on optical pulse correlation measurement and SHG differential detection technique was proposed and demonstrated. The temperature resolution and measurable range were contradictory and related to the length of monitoring fiber in this system. In order to resolve the contradiction of temperature resolution and measurable range, a high resolution and large measurable range optical correlation temperature sensing system is proposed by being combined a 100m long and a 3m short monitoring fibers using optical switch and time-division combination (TDM) technique. The new temperature resolution can reach to 0.001℃ and the appropriate dynamic measurable range can be chose for different applications with different calibrations.
