Zinc in Crops and Human Health in Karnataka

The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI), New Delhi, in collaboration with the International Zinc Association (IZA), Belgium organized a Symposium on "Zinc in Crops and Human Health in Karnataka" on July 12, 2012 at the Fern Citadel Hotel, Bengaluru. Shri Bharat Lai Meena, Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka inaugurated the Symposium. Dr. K. Narayana Gowda, Vice Chancellor, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), GKVK, Bengaluru, was the Guest of Honour. About 100 delegates representing Department of Agriculture and Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, State Agricultural Universities, ICAR Institutes, KVKs and Fertiliser Industry including micronutrient manufacturers attended the Symposium.
