Mitigating Greenhouse Gas Emissions at CFL - Visakhapatnam

This Technical Paper provides an overview and measures to limit and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions over a period spanning 2001 - 2008 at Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd Visakhapatnam (CFL).CFL deployed the latest state-of-the-art technologies,both through in-house development and technological absorption,accompanied by monitoring and certification systems.CFL reaped co-benefits of productivity,carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide mitigation through several initiatives and simultaneously tackled increased fuel costs and sulphur dioxide constraints.
