Biological progress in prostate cancer

摘要

The aggressiveness of prostate cancer needs to be carefully assessed for an accurate prognosis. There is still no accepted methodology that determines the biological aggressiveness of an individual tumor. To gain insight into this, both tumor cell biological characteristics specific for aggressive cancer cells as well as factors determining the tumor-host interaction are being investigated.
